Should Smart TVs be Everyone’s TV?

Cons
We are mostly presented with the good side of having a Smart TV, however, there are also some disadvantages of having one.
• An internet connection is required for a screen to be a smart TV. Unless files from the streaming services have offline enabled access, it cannot work. Practically not having an internet connection, your Smart TV will only function as an ordinary television.
• Screen mirroring is only possible when an internet connection is available.
• Although Smart TVs allow you to download applications, there are only a few apps and games available for Smart TVs.
• The streaming resolution may automatically be set to low if the internet speed is slow or unstable. Therefore, to optimize your viewing experience, a high-speed internet is recommended.
• The greatest threat is a privacy concern. By syncing it to a smart tv, it can be opened up for hacking. As prevention, do not share and regularly change passwords. Also, make sure you know who is connecting to your screen.
• The cost of Smart TVs is definitely more expensive than regular TVs.
